The II International Conference NOVA Health – Health Systems and Policies, focusing on the digital transition in health, was successfully held on 28 February 2023 at the Reitoria da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The event brought together experts and stakeholders in the field of healthcare to discuss the impact of digital technologies on health systems and policies.
The conference program was built around informative sessions and discussions, covering topics such as anthropology, health data, social innovation, and the role of stakeholders and ecosystems.
Attendees had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and insights, with speakers opening up the floor for discussions on the latest developments in the digital transformation of healthcare.
Carina Dantas (SHINE 2Europe) had the chance to present the SIRENE project from the perspective of the project coordinator being one of the speakers at the event. She also introduced initiatives in which SIRENE builds on – SHAFE and NET4Age-Friendly. Carina presented how SIRENE aims to support the growth of social innovation actors in eco-friendly and sustainable community-based services for SHAFE implementation in Europe.
The event was organized by José Carlos Pinto da Costa and his team, who successfully combined a critical reflection around the digital transition in health with various other topics. The conference was an excellent opportunity for attendees to network, learn, and engage with experts and peers from the healthcare industry.
