The SIRENE project aims to support the growth of social innovation ecosystems delivering eco-friendly and sustainable community-based services for SHAFE (Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments) implementation in Europe, by providing a workable framework for investment and the broad adoption of high-quality smart living solutions, combining the housing sector and ICT infrastructure. SIRENE Science Cafes aim to increase awareness regarding the Social Innovation aspects. Second SIRENE Science Café will be held online on 28th November at 15:00 CEST. The session will last for about 30 minutes.
SIRENE consortium is proud to announce that part of the session will be devoted to the expert speaker, Elisa Pozo Menendez PhD in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, with several specialisation courses on ageing, friendliness and the intersection between design and dementia. She combines research at Matia Institute with professional practice in her studio mita atelier. Elisa will talk on the topic: How is Social Innovation applied in SHAFE? This session will be followed by a time slot for the audience to ask questions and exchange experiences on the topic.
