Good Practices

We are very happy to welcome you to our Interactive Map that will guide you through our Good Practices Blueprint.

The Good Practices Blueprint is addressed to all those who want to have a reference point, guide and inspiration for planning and implementing successful actions and initiatives to innovate in the sphere of inclusive and smart living environments.

In this Map you can consult the Good Practices selected by clicking on the white dots – this means there is a practice there! Once you click, a summary will appear with the main information, that you can deepen further in the full report, if you wish to learn more.

The full Good Practices Blueprint – accessible HERE – reports and describes a set of examined and validated good practices on responsive, inclusive, smart, age-friendly living environments.

The practices have been identified and selected taking into consideration a list of specific criteria defined by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations) through careful research in existing reliable repositories (DG Sante, EIP on AHA, Homes4Life, WHO Global Database of Age-friendly Practices, European Social Network database).

The good practices are grouped under six main topics:

    • Policy and Funding
    • Social Innovation
    • Health and Social Sciences
    • Community Intervention and Care
    • ICT for independent living and Information technology,
    • Urban transformation, Housing, Architecture and Design

These topics were identified as key to comprehensively address the expertise and areas of intervention that are relevant to the field of SHAFE.
