Event announcement: How to build SHAFE environments? – Joint webinar by SIRENE & Urbanage projects

SIRENE is teaming up with Urbanage project and holding a webinar on how to build smart healthy age-friendly environments! 
The SIRENE project aims to support the growth of social innovation ecosystems delivering eco-friendly and sustainable community-based services for SHAFE (Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments) implementation in Europe. URBANAGE project has been exploring the last three years how the use of disruptive technologies could help cities to implement and build Smart Healthy Age Friendly Environments.

Let’s be inspired  by SIRENE and learn how the specific pilot case of Flanders in URBANAGE did it and highlight the role of older people as the main actors in these implementation processes.  

Speakers at this event will be SIRENE coordinator Carina Dantas sharing about the work and ecosystem of SIRENE project,  Marine Luc connecting the SIRENE and URBANAGE from the need of the SHAFE environments focused on the older people and Jurgen Silence sharing best practices and reflecting on the use case of Flanders and the Green comfort index including older people involvement, barriers for implementation among other things.
