Discover the Future of Integrated Care at ICIC24, Belfast – April 22-24, 2024
The 24th International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC24), hosted in partnership with IFIC Ireland and the International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC), promises to be a groundbreaking event. Supported by the Department of Health, Northern Ireland, and Visit Belfast, ICIC24 will convene in ICC Belfast from April 22 to April 24, 2024. With its overarching theme, ‘Taking the leap: making integrated care a reality for people and communities,’ the conference will unite thought leaders, researchers, clinicians, managers, community representatives, patients, and caregivers from across the globe. They share a common dedication to the design and delivery of integrated health and care.
At present, Northern Ireland is in the midst of a transformative journey toward adopting an integrated care approach to health and care service planning, management, and delivery. The region is developing a new Integrated Care System (ICS) model. This transformative model will revolutionize existing commissioning processes. As regions worldwide transition towards more people-centered, community-driven models of care, ICIC24 offers an invaluable opportunity. Attendees can learn from the experiences of others, reflect on change, and celebrate advancements in the movement toward delivering coordinated, person-centered care for global communities.
Abstract Submission
The scientific committee for ICIC24 comprises international experts who are at the forefront of the integrated care field. They are actively soliciting paper submissions focused on research, policy, practice, or education, particularly related to the 9 Pillars of Integrated Care. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, November 24th. Each abstract is limited to 500 words and will be published in the International Journal for Integrated Care, which boasts an Impact Factor of 2.913. Abstract Guidelines are available for download, and special consideration is given to papers showcasing active people involvement in the design, implementation, or evaluation.
Abstract submitters are asked to select one of the 9 Pillars that best aligns with their paper. This system enables the program committee and Special Interest Group leads to organize papers for optimal delegate navigation and learning opportunities.
